Defense vs. Offense

Whenever we believe we have a clear direction from God and are excited to proceed, then “all of a sudden” it seems like we are bombarded with opposition to prevent us from proceeding, we shouldn’t be surprised. That is satan’s m.o. (modus operandi). He is just doing his job.

Making Winners Out of Us

Defense vs. Offense

Like in a football game, if Jesus (QB) hands the ball (Word) off to you, and you start running with it, the Defense is supposed to stop you! If you didn’t have opposition, there would be no game! If there is no game, there is no victory, and no champions! God is trying to making winners out of us. He is trying to give us an opportunity to be victors.

• No test, no testimony
• No mess, no message
• No opposition, no game
• No victim, no victor

Are You All That?

All through the Bible we can see this principle at work. As the Bible says, we shouldn’t think it strange when we are in fiery trials to “try” you.

• Every product has to be “tried” before it is put on the market, to validate its credibility. Can it do what you say it can do? Can it hold up to your claims?
• Every person has to pass the” test” to see if their credentials are valid before they are hired to do a job.

You have to know what you’re getting. Put your money where your mouth is. “Show Me” you can do what you say!

In Christianity, we want all God’s perks without the hard work or responsibility. No Pain, No Gain Baby! You don’t get to the top without a climb, and that is uphill…with resistance! It’s the same way with anything. So don’t whine and complain the next time you are “going through it.” Suck it up and get tough! Be a winner, not a whiner. Focus, and let the resistance help build your muscles, and make you bigger and stronger. Like a football player, if you get knocked down, get back up and run it again, and again, and again, and again…until you cross the goal line! Don’t stop short of a touchdown. That’s how winners are made!
